Clever-Lite Rollator Walker is manufactured by Drive Medical. It is the perfect mobility aid to get you moving. Indoors or out, this rollator will be the best choice for all your essential needs and more. Every solid rollator begins at the base, and the Clever-Lite is no different. With four wheels (choose from either 5- or 8-inch) and an option to either swivel or fix the front casters, you'll be able to move in any direction at the flick of a switch. The reinforced body is sturdy with one-inch diameter aluminum. The sturdy design is able to support up to 300 pounds. The brakes conveniently and discreetly tuck around the perimeter of the walker and attach to the rear wheels. Simple pull loop handles give you the ability to stop at any moment without being thrust forward. Drive Medical also manufactures the D-Lite Rollator with loop brakes.
Clever Lite Views
For extra convenience, the seating area flips upward and has a built-in carry handle for easy storing. The seat itself is 19 inches wide, providing plenty of sitting space. The handles are height adjustable up to 39 inches, allowing a person up to 6-feet, 5-inches tall to use the rollator without having to lean in too far. It's also lightweight, weighing only 14 pounds to provide easier lifting and storage. Assembly Instructions
Do not attempt to adjust or operate a walker without carefully reading all instructions in the User Manual.
Three Easy Assembly Steps
- Remove all contents from carton.
- Open walker.
- Drop seat to down position, allowing lock to activate.
Folding Instructions
- To fold walker, lift seat to upright position.
- Push one of the side blue paddles to trigger the release.
- Fold that side toward the center of the rollator to the closed position.
- Push the other side paddle to trigger its release.
- Fold that side toward the center of the rollator to the closed position.
- Use the handle built-into the seat to lift and carry the rollator walker.
Safety Precautions
- Ensure that the walker is fully opened, the seat is down and secured in the down position before each use.
- Test walker for stability before applying full weight to the handgrips.
- Test the looping brake locks before operating the walker.
- The lock bars on each rear wheel should prevent wheels from turning when applying the brakes.
- If the wheels continue to turn while applying the brakes, take the walker to a service center for adjustment.
- When the locks are in the release position, the wheels should turn freely.
- Always lock the loop handles before sitting and do not use the seat when the walker is on an incline or uneven ground.
- Replace tires when significantly worn or damaged.
- Do not have anyone push you while you are seated on the walker.
- Do not use the walker as a transport chair. The Clever-Lite is a walking aid. Drive Medical also manufactures the Duet Transport Chair Rollator if transport is a feature you need with a walker.
Brake Operation
- Always engage and disengage wheel brakes on both sides simultaneously.
- To slow down or come to a temporary stop, pull up slowly on the loop lock handles with four fingers until the unit slows down or comes to a temporary stop.
- To temporarily lock wheels in position as a parking brake, press down on both loop locks with palms until you hear a "click" that will tell you wheels are locked.
- To release the wheel locks or parking brakes, push up on both loop locks with palms of your hand to place the loop handles in their original position.
